Primary Research

• My research is ongoing throughout the project, but for my primary research i have looked into many ideas.
• Taken photographs of the site, exterior, interior and of the sites surroundings focussing on details which interested me.
• Taken films in the cinema museum of the collection, the layout and its design.
• Spoken to the owners about the museum, its history, the collection.
• Sketched and drawn from the site visits of my initial interpretations.

• Looked at the ground and 1st floor plans of the site.
• Surveyed the buildings, collecting measurements and using them to create an accurate plan of the museum and perspectives of the entrance hallway.
• Studied the forms around the site and of parts of the site which were of interest to me.

• Produced and developed a 30 second film of my initial response to the site.
• Created and developed a stop frame animation related to the site; isolation and silence.
