Ghar Dalam Cave is an underground cave containing prehistoric fossils, bones and the like. It opened in 1933, and has a small museum collection of some of he findings in the caves. This museum has not been changed since it was opened. Its order is very precise and repetitive. The artifacts are displayed in rows behind glass cases. Such as in the Natural History Museum, skeletons of large prehistoric animals have been put together, such as the Dwarf Elephant, again behind glass. The museum is very Victorian, rows, similar sizes objects, teeth in jars.
The museum was designed to impress the viewer through the quantity of artifacts, but little thought was actually given to the scientific and educational value of the objects. This might not be the best way to display bone upon bone.
