Establishing shot is good but should be longer to allow the viewer to understand the surroundings.
Experiment with the camera looking through the buildings, up close, experiment more with the camera angles and what i can do. Cut each scene about every 3 secs.
The movement of the buildings is effective, slow at first not sure whether its happening, then becomes more apparent. Good shots but edit it more.
Think about whether i want sound, such as wind.
Reference | American Beauty film, plastic bag floating in the wind.
Maybe consider having more buildings in the shot and think about the lighting, if time is passing this can be shown with the movement of the light, day to night.
The model is really nice, so use it to its advantage, lots of details, more possibilities to film.
Posters
Work much better now than the previous ones, just few details need to change.
Text no more than 12 lines long and to the left.
Each drawing doesn't have to be completely finished to the edges, like a montage.
Headings at top, bolder, size 14pt
I can draw by hand and then scan in images to layout on the posters.
relate perspective drawings, use models or 3d max or draw by hand.
Reference | Flat world, Daniel Grieves.
Next week is the crit so i need to develop the posters and show my on going research presented in this format. I need to develop my stop frame animation and go back to my 30 sec film on my impression of the site. Primary, secondary and tertiary research is all important as well as the site sure. Ned to see the beginnings of a site proposal for the brief.
